Neither an abrupt departure nor a prolonged tenure can do this.

Larry Jones of the Seed Company was the first to join this new effort from Design Group International, what we believed would be one of the highest expressions, perhaps the highest art form, of Process Consulting: a four-year intentional cohort of a small group of Third Turn Leaders, co-creating and encouraging each other into and beyond the mists of planful succession.

Larry's last day at Seed Co as its CEO was 29 February 2024. This video records the celebration of staff and board for the leadership legacy Larry leaves, with every possible consideration in place to slingshot his successors into the future.

Watching it, I celebrate the work of Maestro-level leaders. Even more, I hear the concepts of planful succession leaking through into the perspectives of younger leaders. And still more, I feel honored to have walked alongside a leader like Larry.

I walk alongside leaders, listening to understand their challenges, and helping them lead healthy organizations that flourish.
