Meet Rose

Rose draws on more than 27 years of leadership experience to help leaders and their organizations grow and thrive. She has an extensive background in executive leadership, fund development, and service on the boards of nonprofit organizations, as well as serving in a primary role to guide the initiation and growth of a nonprofit start-up.

As a certified Advanced Process Consultant, Rose leads with a posture of listening to uncover an organization's needs. Building on these insights, she and the client design solutions together that help the organization transform and grow in a sustainable manner.

Trained as a leadership coach, Rose provides the space and questions for busy leaders to reflect, expand their thinking, articulate their goals, and live into their intention for growth.

What Clients Say About Rose

Absolutely, without hesitation, I recommend Rose to other organizations. She listened well to us and helped guide us in a way that was authentic to who we were as Freeman Academy. At the same time, she encouraged innovation and thinking outside the box. She took all appropriate initiatives, developed strong relationships, and ensured an increased level of fundraising success from what Freeman Academy had ever experienced before. She came in the middle of a major fundraising drive and directed it to an excellent conclusion. She was wonderful to work with, a highly respected (even if remote) member of our team. Contracting with Rose was the best decision we could have made.
Rose invited deeper awareness about balance and wellness in my life and ministry throughout our coaching relationship. With openness and curiosity, Rose listened to my leadership questions and/or concerns; she quickly earned my trust and helped me consider the wisdom within me. She helped me name and trust what I already knew or perhaps was sensing and repeatedly offered resources that underscored or built on that wisdom. I am a more effective leader because of my coaching sessions with Rose.

Over the last two years, Rose has provided skilled and patient leadership to a process leading to the opening of a new MCC thrift shop. As chair of the steering committee, she guided a group of volunteers as we formed a new non-profit organization, drew in volunteers and financial support, and hired a general manager. Despite unforeseen challenges (including a global pandemic), Rose’s steady leadership and experience got us to the finish line.

I would definitely recommend Rose's support to others. I really appreciate her ability to listen and ask insightful questions. Her empathetic ability helps to put clients at ease, and really helped me to feel capable of looking at some of the obstacles to better, more healthy work dynamics for myself and my team. With Rose's support, we gained a better understanding of personal strengths and ideals and some valuable tools for understanding our workloads and work styles.
Having a space to name my short-term action steps and larger goals and objectives was both empowering and motivating. To move from refining to clarification to action was an important area of growth. I highly recommend Rose as a coach! Rose integrated state-of-the-art coaching tools with a deep personal presence to listen, reflect and encourage my naming and realizing my current life call and purpose.
Rose served as an embedded consultant in an early phase of the formation of our organization over (mostly) a 3-month period. Her attention to the smallest details and her ability to get "in the weeds" were precisely what was needed at the time. She not only fulfilled her contractual obligations, but her interactions in our office were positive and gentle in nature, yet in a way that delivered outcomes. She is team-oriented, and her approach was effective in the best way possible.
