It is an honor to step into this role and to support Mark Vincent as he transitions from CEO to Founder of Design Group International.
This new role will not impact work with my current clients—I remain committed to serving as a process consultant and will continue to walk alongside my clients, listening to them, learning from them, and helping them live into their work.

DESIGN GROUP INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCES NEW CEO
Grand Rapids-based Lon Swartzentruber Named CEO of Nation-wide Community of Process Consultants
January 8, 2019—Design Group International is pleased to announce that Lon L. Swartzentruber has accepted the position of CEO of its community of practice. Dr. Mark L. Vincent, who launched the community and previously served as its CEO, is transitioning to Founder of Design Group International.
Design Group International is a community of practitioners dedicated to the craft of process consulting. Founded in 2001 by Dr. Vincent in Wisconsin, today the organization has grown to include 14 skilled process consultants in seven states. These consultants help organizations and leaders transform for a vibrant future. They work with organizations from a variety of sectors across the United States and beyond.
Swartzentruber joined Design Group International in 2012. To the community of practice and its clients, Swartzentruber brings more than 25 years of professional experience in strategic planning, organizational transformation, and managing change.
Prior to joining Design Group International, Swartzentruber was Managing Director of Norris, Perné & French. He also served as Chief Advancement Officer of Grand Rapids Christian Schools and was Donor Relations Director with Grand Rapids Community Foundation.

In his new role as Founder of Design Group International, Dr. Vincent aims to further grow and elevate the field of process consulting. Under Dr. Vincent’s leadership, Design Group International has worked with more than 1,000 clients in varied domestic and international marketplaces. Dr. Vincent plans to share this experience and help prepare other consultants for the field through his Introduction to Process Consulting Course. He also serves Founder and Chairman of the newly formed Society for Process Consulting, which is being developed to offer education, credentialing and a framework of professional ethics for process consultants.
